A practicing attorney since 2004, a majority of my career has been spent working for the citizens of the State of Florida at one of the state's many agencies. My practice has been primarily in administrative and civil litigation with a specific focus on labor issues and employee relations.

​​The nature of my work requires that I have the ability to listen critically, issue-spot, and communicate ideas clearly not only to the decision makers but to the real, live people doing the day to day work.  This is a skill that not everyone has but that I strive to implement every day.

 I issue-spot for a living. By working hard to identify the issues that may affect my client the most and by being able to objectively prioritize actions and suggest a reasonable course of action.  I strive to create an environment for the people who make the final decisions that is informed, complete, and educated. I write clearly and in a thoughtful, informative manner.  I am trained to write understandable, persuasive content for discerning readers (judges, opposing counsel, and clients).

​ My clients respect all of these qualities as well as my interpersonal skills.  Though often overlooked, I believe that likability is very important to building and maintaining strong working relationships.  All of these skills combine to build trust and confidence between myself and my client, which enables all parties to operate efficiently and to get the job done.
